GERMANTOWN, Tenn. – WKU’s Mary Joiner shot the second-best score in the field in the final round Tuesday, as the freshman surged up the leaderboard at the Memphis Women’s Intercollegiate.

It was the second top-15 finish for Joiner, who significantly improved her play in each round at Memphis. The Franklin, Ky., native won her first college tournament earlier this season at Murray State’s Drake Creek Invitational.
