On the second day of the District 5 Little League Baseball Tournament in Glasgow, the Glasgow 12s continued to roll, while the Glasgow 10s and 11s suffered losses.
The Glasgow 11s’ postseason came to an end with a 9-2 loss to Campbellsville. The two teams were the only two in the age bracket, and so, played a best-of-3 series. Campbellsville won on Day 1, 12-3.
The Glasgow 12s beat Washington County 13-3, while the Glasgow 10s lost to Washington County 8-1.
In other 12U games in the tournament, Campbellsville beat Marion County 13-0 to remain undefeated, while Adair County beat Boyle County 4-1. After two days, Glasgow and Campbellsville are each 2-0. They play each other Monday at 7 p.m. at Beaver Creek Park. Washington County and Adair County are each 1-1 and Marion County and Boyle County are 0-2.
In the 10U tournament, Glasgow is 1-1, Washington County is 2-0, Boyle County is 1-1, and Marion and Adair are each 0-1. Glasgow is off Monday.
