WKU Track and Field lands in Georgia for GT Invitational

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Track and Field will send 16 student-athletes to Atlanta,
Ga., to compete in the Georgia Tech Invitational at the George C. Griffin Track on
Friday and Saturday as both days will start at 10 a.m. CT.

The following schools will be competing: Albany State, Austin Peay, Belmont, Boston
College, East Tennessee State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Georgia Tech,
Jackson State, Jackson State, Lipscomb, Oakland, Ole Miss, Rutgers, SE Missouri, St.
John’s, Syracuse, Syracuse, Tennessee State, Tiffin, UAB, USC Upstate, VCU and

WKU is once again coming off another impressive weekend, including two titles won at
the Austin Peay Invite by Morgan McIntyre in the pole vault and Khadijah Valentine
in the 200-meter dash. The Hilltoppers also participated in the Mt. SAC Relays
claiming two top-5 finishes. The duo of Hilltoppers were Julius Morris in the
200-meter dash placing third and Jonathan Hayden in the 110m hurdles placing third
as well.
