WKU softball Senior Day games moved to Sunday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Due to a 100-percent chance of rain on Saturday, WKU Softball’s
final home games of the 2017 campaign have been pushed back to begin on Sunday with
a doubleheader and will wrap up on Monday. WKU is slated to host C-USA foe Southern
Miss in the weekend series on The Hill.

Senior day festivities will still take place before the first game of the series,
now slated for Sunday at 1 p.m. CT with game two of the doubleheader to follow. The
series finale is now set to start on Monday at 1 p.m. CT from the WKU Softball

WKU senior battery in pitcher Kathryn Downing and catcher Taylor Proctor will be
honored on Senior Day and will be joined by former player and current team manager,
Kelsey Jernigan.
