Hilltoppers game at Kentucky cancelled

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For the first time in 2017, the WKU Softball schedule has been
altered by Mother Nature as the WKU at No. 20 Kentucky game slated for Wednesday
evening has been cancelled. With severe inclement in the forecast across the
Bluegrass State, the game that was set to air on the SEC Network will not be
rescheduled.

For the first time since 2011, the in-state rivals will not meet on the dirt during
the spring season. The 2008 campaign is the only other season that the Hilltoppers
and Wildcats have not met since the WKU program began back in 2000.

Next up, WKU will hit the road again to head to Texas for a weekend series at UTEP.
Saturday will feature a doubleheader followed by the series finale on Sunday in El
Paso.
